How to Help Support our Building Renewal Campaign
As our church continues to grow, we are grateful for the opportunity to expand our space and strengthen the ministry taking place within our community. Construction is now underway in 2026. To finance this project, we are using a combination of investment funds and a line of credit, allowing us to manage costs responsibly while preserving as much of our long-term investments as possible. Gifts from previous generations are supporting the foundation of this work.
However, several important items that will directly support our ministry are not included in the construction budget. These items now require additional funding:
- Chairs for the sanctuary and parish hall, and tables for the parish hall – approximately $44,000
- Relocation of the organ to the sanctuary – approximately $25,000
- Kitchen appliances – approximately $101,000
- Additional audio-visual equipment – approximately $5,000
- Boardroom and sanctuary furniture – approximately $15,000
- Little Library area on Hughson – approximately $5,000
- Outdoor sign – approximately $20,000
Total estimated cost: $215,000
We are committed to minimizing expenses wherever possible. Funding for these items will come from a combination of community grants, partnerships with Out of the Cold (OOTC), in-kind donations from suppliers, and special fundraising events throughout the year. Our first event, a High Tea, is planned for June.
Most importantly, we invite you—our congregation—to take part. Every contribution, whether small or large, makes a meaningful difference. A gift today helps shape how we serve our community tomorrow. A chair is not simply a chair, and a stove is not simply a stove—they are tools that enable ministry, hospitality, and connection.
You can support this initiative in several ways:
- Make a one-time donation to the designated Building Fund
- Add an ongoing amount to your weekly giving
- Sponsor one or more sanctuary chairs (approximately $200 per chair)
- Volunteer at fundraising events
- Pray for the continued growth and impact of our church in the community
As we move forward, we do so together—with faith, generosity, and a shared commitment to our mission. Every gift is a blessing that helps our church remain a place where faith and community flourish.
