Bird Watching

Iroquoia Heights Conservation Area, 1031 Old Mohawk Road, Hamilton
Many of our summer songbirds are beginning their trek to more warmer climes. It’s a more leisurely journey than in the spring and with suitable habitat they will stay put to fatten up before continuing their migration. Hopefully, we’ll find some pockets of migrants who chose this natural habitat to stay awhile.
Parking is free along Old Mohawk Road.
Whether you are an experienced birder or a novice, join Debbie Lindeman and Dennis Price for a morning of birding and nature appreciation. Please bring binoculars if you have them. The leaves are still on the trees so pack your patience when trying to catch a glimpse of these active birds. Please email Debbie at deborahlindeman3@gmail.com if you would like to participate.
